About Me

My favorite professor has a phrase that I apply to my professional life almost every day: always get the name of the dog. What does that mean? It means the difference is in the details. No word will go unchecked, no comma misplaced, no detail is too small to ignore. In a fast-paced and ever-evolving business landscape writers need to be prepared to innovate, reference, and perfect to build brands and campaigns that stand the test of time.

Let's Work Together

The Work

I’ve spent the last six years focused on digital brand strategy, content management, and innovating B2B marketing practices. I spent over two years at Veriff as a Content Strategist, aligning their content across all channels, and led the content strategy on their brand refresh in 2022. After that I led the content strategy for Fireblocks, and spearheaded a complete rebrand and built a content strategy from scratch for Beyond Identity. I cut my teeth early in the fast-paced start-up world and am nimble and creative when it comes to imagining a brand identity.

Before entering the digital marketing space, I was a journalist for over six years. I carved a niche in the finance and business news sector, where I wrote articles, copyedited, and produced TV segments about Fortune 500 CEOs, unicorn IPOs, major market shifts, and more. Before that, I was a proud editor and producer at the award-winning newspaper The Lantern, where I covered everything from Ohio State football to the 2016 presidential election to the Women’s March in Washington, D.C., and beyond.

Storytelling is at the heart of my work, and effectively and reliably sharing people’s stories is central to communication across the world.

Group of women participating in a women's march on Washington, D.C., holding a large banner that reads 'Women's March on Washington' and 'Manif des Femmes à Washington, Canada - National'. The women wear pink knit hats and red scarves, and there are American flags and other signs in the background, with the U.S. Capitol building visible in the distance.

The Personal

In my spare time I am learning how to create a dark room in my shoebox closet in New York City, doting on my rescue dog, and watching as many movies as possible. AMC A-List forever and always!

Currently watching, reading, and enjoying:

  • The films of Steven Soderbergh

  • Severance

  • Psychotic Reactions and Carburetor Dung by Lester Bangs

  • There's Always This Year: On Basketball and Ascension by Hanif Abdurraqib
